Clare Duncan-Hawes graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2003. Her first job was in a small practice in Melksham but moved to a busier practice in Swindon in 2004. In 2007 she branched out and set up on her own in the Basepoint complex in Swindon. Whilst building up her database she worked part time in Basingstoke. In April 2011 she was offered the opportunity to take over the Basingstoke practice and moved it to the Basepoint complex in Basingstoke.
Over the years Clare has gone on numerous courses one to study a non manipulative technique call sacro-occipital technique. This has given her the tool to offer people a more diverse range of treatments including techniques that can be used on more delicate patients, such as children and patients with osteoporosis. Clare also uses an activator which is a gadget that again can aide treatment.
Clare’s special interests include the treatment of headaches and migraines which can be eased by treatment of the neck (see conditions page). But also shoulder, elbow and wrist problems.
The chiropractic health centres have a friendly approachable attitude with lots of experience of treating a diverse range of conditions. Both clinics are located in Basepoint business centres where the surroundings are professional, modern, and easy to find with have plentiful parking.
